Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Webscepts Solutions services including web hosting, domain registration, VPS, dedicated servers, and reseller plans. Please read them carefully before ordering.

Acceptance of terms
By using Webscepts Solutions services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services. Webscepts reserves the right to update these terms at any time, with notice provided to active account holders.
Services
Webscepts provides web hosting, domain registration, VPS, dedicated servers, reseller hosting, and related services. Service availability is subject to the specific plan you have ordered. Service specifications, pricing, and availability may change with reasonable notice.
Acceptable use
- Services may not be used for unlawful purposes, including distributing malware, hosting illegal content, conducting phishing attacks, or sending unsolicited email (spam).
- Customers may not use Webscepts infrastructure to launch attacks against other systems, including DDoS attacks, port scanning, or unauthorized access attempts.
- Reseller customers are responsible for ensuring their end clients comply with this acceptable use policy.
- Webscepts reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy without prior notice.
Payment and billing
- Services are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis, as selected at checkout.
- Renewal invoices are issued before the service expiry date. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure payment is made on time.
- Webscepts may suspend services for non-payment after a reasonable notice period.
- Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed for services already rendered.
Domain registration
- Domain registration is subject to the policies of the relevant registry (ICANN, LLRC, etc.).
- Webscepts acts as a registrar agent and does not guarantee registration of any specific domain name.
- .lk domain registrations are subject to LLRC eligibility requirements.
- Domain transfers must comply with registry rules, including minimum registration periods before transfer.
Uptime and reliability
Webscepts targets 99.99% network uptime. Scheduled maintenance windows are announced in advance where possible. Unplanned outages will be communicated through our support channels. Uptime commitments do not apply to customer-caused outages, third-party service failures, or force majeure events.
Data and backups
- Customers are responsible for maintaining their own backups of website data, databases, and email.
- Webscepts may perform routine infrastructure backups but these are not guaranteed as a customer data recovery service.
- Webscepts is not liable for data loss resulting from hardware failure, human error, or security incidents outside our direct control.
Limitation of liability
Webscepts Solutions shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of or inability to use our services. Our total liability to any customer for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the affected service in the three months preceding the claim.
Termination
Either party may terminate a service by providing written notice before the next billing cycle. Webscepts may terminate accounts immediately for violations of the acceptable use policy, fraudulent activity, or non-payment. Upon termination, customer data may be deleted after a reasonable notice period.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Disputes will be resolved in the appropriate Sri Lankan courts, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
